How do I book an appointment?
There are many ways to book an appointment:
New clients: If you are a NEW client to Brock Counselling and Trauma Therapy, please follow this link to send us a message: Contact Brock Counselling for Support and Therapy Services.
You can also book directly by e-mailing info@brockcounselling.ca or calling us at 905-320-2342.
Existing clients: If you are a CURRENT client, please use the Owl Portal link on the top right-hand side of the page. This will take you to the online booking platform: OWL (hyperlink), where you can book an appointment.

Since scheduling of a session involves the reservation of time specifically for you, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required for rescheduling or cancelling an appointment.
We understand that life happens and we cannot always foretell the future; therefore, a “no charge” may be extended for extreme circumstances. If you need to cancel an appointment, please reach out via e-mail or phone, or contact your therapist directly.
No, we do not.
If you/your child are experiencing an emergency, having suicidal thoughts or making plans to harm yourself, the protocol would be to call 911 or proceed to the nearest hospital emergency room.

Individual therapy sessions are billed at $165, and family and couples therapy sessions are billed at $190. Sessions are 50 minutes in length. Sessions are paid for at the end. Payment is accepted in the form of credit card and electronic transfer of funds. Clients submit the receipt to their insurance for reimbursement. It is always a good idea to speak with your insurance provider about coverage. All detailed information about the therapist’s credentials will be listed on the receipt.
No. However, many private insurance plans cover some or all of the fees. Please check your insurance plan to determine your coverage. You may also be eligible to claim psychotherapy session fees on your tax return.
Yes, therapy and counselling services are confidential, and your privacy is prioritized. Information shared during sessions is protected by the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA), ensuring a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship between you and your therapist.
